Celebrations mark International Women’s Day

People around the world marked the International Women’s Day on March 9, Sunday. Astute Outsourcing Services, part of the Chaque Jour Group, also chose the occasion to hail the outstanding contributions of women in different spheres of life.


Like the famous quote, “A successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at her,” Astute Outsourcing believes in the policy of empowering women by giving them equal opportunities in the society.

Astute Outsourcing CEO Tapasi Chakraborty recently attended the ‘The Economic Times Global Business Summit’ at Taj Palace, New Delhi. The Summit discussed various topics, including leadership roles for women and mentoring programmes for women.
Some of the key speakers at the Economic Times summit were Geeta Phogat, Indian wrestler; Babita Phogat, Indian wrestler; Kiran Bedi, Lieutenant Governor, Puducherry; Masaba Gupta, fashion designer, House of Masaba; Abanti Sankaranarayanan, chief strategy and corporate affairs officer, Diageo; Shahnaz Husain, founder, chairperson & MD, The Shahnaz Husain Group – India; Laxmi Aggarwal (acid attack survivor); Dr. Deepa Malik, Indian Para-athelete, Dr. Swati A.
